60s Krut Special 20” Ride

This is a budget English cymbal from the 60’s, not made from bronze but rather “nickel silver” (there’s no silver in it). It can be a rather “tinny” sounding alloy although Paiste used it for their first ever cymbals and got good results. This cymbal isn’t good however and with a name like “KRUT” I dunno how they sold any at all! (I’ve heard rumours that it’s meant to be TURK ie Turkish backwards.)
